With coordinated colour pairs and subtly varied shapes, Grimm’s Stacking Cars help children learn about colour recognition, balance, and construction. They can be stacked, combined with other building pieces, or used as stackable toy cars to transport small treasures, supporting open-ended, Montessori-inspired play.

Each set highlights authentic handcrafted quality, with natural variations in wood grain and colour that make every piece one of a kind. Crafted from lime wood with maple wood wheels and finished with non-toxic, water-based colour glaze, these cars are safe, durable, and engaging for babies and toddlers.

About Grimm's

Grimm’s toys are inspired by the principles of Waldorf Steiner education and are carefully designed to nurture creativity, independent thinking, and imaginative play in children of all ages. Each toy emphasizes simplicity of shape, bright colours, and open-ended possibilities, giving children the freedom to explore, experiment, and invent without instructions or limitations. By focusing on tactile materials and natural textures, Grimm’s encourages hands-on discovery and sensory development, helping little ones develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and problem-solving abilities in a playful way.

Please note: as Grimm's uses non-lacquered wood, some paint transfer can occur during play. This is considered normal. Non-lacquered wood has a lovely texture - the rough texture of the stained wood is not only an important tactile sensory experience for children, but those rough surfaces makes it possible to build in many different ways, because the parts do not slide down so easily as the wood surface is still natural and not covered with a layer of bright enamel; however if you are concerned about paint transfer we suggest you purchase another item that is lacquered to be on the safe side.
