With this small sailing fleet there is a lot to discover when you explore the play worlds created by small world builders. Each yacht has a colour-coordinated sailor on board, who of course can also steer another boat from time to time, but who is always happy to return to his/her own boat. The Peg Doll Sailors have simple forms to allow children to supply their own imagination to decide "who" the dolls are. Each one of our little hand-painted wooden figures has a different look and individual wood grain. Children can choose to make them male or female. Slightly older children will love using leftover ribbons or fabrics to craft their own "clothes" or hats for the peg doll sailors. These happy little wooden figures, made from different types of wood from trees indigenous to central Europe, are gender neutral. With no specific facial expression, they can be either sad or happy. Tip: Please secure the sail in its position by carefully tapping with a small hammer. Over time, this will expand and the sail can be removed again.
