Grimm's Stacking Cars - Orange
Grimm’s Stacking Cars in vibrant orange tones are thoughtfully designed to inspire open-ended, Waldorf-inspired play that encourages movement, imagination, and hands-on discovery. This simple yet versatile wooden set invites children to stack, roll, carry, and combine the cars in endless creative ways, transforming everyday play into evolving stories and small-world adventures. Their smooth, tactile shape is perfectly suited to small hands, supporting the development of coordination, balance, spatial awareness, and early problem-solving through natural exploration.
With warm orange hues and gently varied forms, these stacking cars introduce early concepts of colour harmony, rhythm, and balance. Children can build towering stacks, create flowing vehicle lines, or integrate them with other wooden building elements, allowing for truly open-ended play that adapts and grows with imagination rather than instruction.
Each piece is carefully handcrafted from sustainably sourced lime wood, celebrating the natural grain and unique character of every car. Finished with non-toxic, water-based stains and fitted with smooth maple wood wheels, this durable set offers a rich sensory experience rooted in quality, simplicity, and timeless Waldorf principles.

About Grimm's
Grimm's toys are inspired by the principles of Waldorf Steiner and are designed with the intention of helping children discover and develop their own creativity through simplicity of shapes, leaving plenty of room for independent play and imagination. Inspired by the educational philosophies of Rudolf Steiner, Grimm's puzzles, building sets, and toys are about the rainbow, happy colors, creativity, and the imagination. There are no instructions, and you can do no wrong with a Grimm's toy. Just play, learn, and enjoy.
Please note: as Grimm's uses non-lacquered wood, some paint transfer can occur during play. This is considered normal. Non-lacquered wood has a lovely texture - the rough texture of the stained wood is not only an important tactile sensory experience for children, but those rough surfaces makes it possible to build in many different ways, because the parts do not slide down so easily as the wood surface is still natural and not covered with a layer of bright enamel; however if you are concerned about paint transfer we suggest you purchase another item that is lacquered to be on the safe side.
