This beautifully hand crafted music box by Mader has two removable spinning tops, and plays a tune when the handle is turned. The woodland themed spinning tops add an element of fun, with the toadstool top flipping up onto its stem as it spins. The toadstool top is a level 3 (out of 6) and the fir tree top is a little more challenging at a level 4.

Of all the spinning tops currently available, those of Klaus and Margit Mader from Austria are by far the nicest collection on the market today. Their spinning tops are made in up to 20 work stages, the tops are turned, burned, embossed, carved, brushed, painted and varnished. Each top is made from a single piece of wood and is then hand painted in beautiful colour combinations.
