Explore the outer space with our planets. Besides being objects for open-ended play, the planets also work as a perfect addition to our Weekly calendar (17-168). As the days of the week were originally named after planets, you can match them all.

The set become a toy which can be used as a symbolic play, to create stories and small worlds. However, combined with other elements, they can be part of mathematical, language and sensorial games, among others. Moreover, this material is not structured, which allows for it to be used in a broad number of ways. 

The Dear Universe contains more than 40 wooden pieces in different sizes (from 12mmø to 45mmø) and colours.

SUSTAINABILITY AND CERTIFICATIONS

• The dyes are water based and non-toxic. The colours and their appearance might vary slightly, like nature itself.
• The wood we use comes from certifed sustainable forests.
• The finishes are made with wax and oils of vegetable origin.
• Some of our products include cotton bags. All the fabrics have a GOTS Certificate (Global Organic Textile Standard)
• All our packaging is 100% plastic free. We also produce the boxes with a heavyweight cardboard that ensures the life of the box for approximately 5 years. We consider our boxes as part of the toy.
• Most of our products are in one piece. In spite of this, some elements need the use of glue for their assembly. The glue used is 100% formaldehyde free.
• All our products are manufactured and tested in accordance with the safety requirements of the European (EN71 1–2-3), American (ASTM) Toy Safety Standards, and ISO8124.
• To take best care for the pieces, they should be stored in a cool and dry place, they can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried immediately. We do not recommend immersing parts in water, nor using disinfectants.
