​Meet Gwen van Knippenberg

Hello, my name is Gwen. I create images based on everything I see around me and on memories. By using my imagination and vivid colours, I try to create an atmosphere that provides a good feeling. I live with my family and 2 cats in Amstelveen, close to Amsterdam. It is lovely to see our garden changing throughout the seasons and to have a vibrant city at a bike ride distance. To have my illustrations illuminated by the beautiful Toverlux lamp is truly wonderful!

We have a beautiful collection of silhouettes that we regularly supplement with the latest woolen paintings. It's up to you to collect your own collection for every special occasion. The Magic Silhouettes are made from images of my wool paintings and printed on translucent material so that the structure of the wool and the colors come out beautifully. The silhouettes are 19x19 cm in size.
