PlanetBox Insulated Bag Care Instructions
PlanetBox insulated bags are easy to care for, but proper cleaning is essential to prevent mold and odors. After each use, remove any ice packs and wipe down the interior and exterior of the bag with a damp cloth or sponge and mild (phosphate-free, chlorine bleach-free) soap and water. Be sure to leave the bag open to air dry completely before storing.
Never leave ice packs or food inside a closed bag, as condensation can accumulate and promote mold growth. Regularly following these steps will keep your PlanetBox insulated bag fresh and safe for everyday use.
The PlanetBox Warranty
PlanetBox provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser of a new PlanetBox product. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship only. Stainless steel products are covered for 5 years, and soft goods (such as fabric items) are covered for 1 year, starting from the original purchase date.
If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, PlanetBox may replace the product, provide an equivalent item, or offer a refund. The warranty is valid only while the original owner has the product and ends if the product is sold or transferred to someone else.
The warranty does not cover cosmetic wear, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, negligence, loss, theft, or normal wear and tear. Negligence includes mold or odours caused by leaving food, ice packs, or moisture inside the bag without proper cleaning and drying. It also does not cover issues related to customer education or improper use.
