This building set is for small and large builders with a lot of flair and love for imaginative building and architecture. Almost all of the 81 pieces have large or small arcs in some form.
Made in Germany from alder wood and is finished with only certified non toxic, water based stains. Includes sturdy 17" (44.5cm) felt-lined storage tray . This set is designed on the same 4x4 scale as most other large Grimm's building sets, and is a wonderful supplement to other 4x4 set such the four elements building set or Shapes & Colors Building Sets.
Its symmetry speaks its own language of forms and opens up a wide field of new play possibilities: Beautiful mandalas, flower pictures, faces and emotions, animals and figures, letters and ABC games! Diverse roof gables, bridges and city walls are created and open up a wide range of different architectures.
Please note: as Grimm's uses non-lacquered wood, some paint transfer can occur during play. This is considered normal. Non-lacquered wood has a lovely texture - the rough texture of the stained wood is not only an important tactile sensory experience for children, but those rough surfaces makes it possible to build in many different ways, because the parts do not slide down so easily as the wood surface is still natural and not covered with a layer of bright enamel; however if you are concerned about paint transfer we suggest you purchase another item that is lacquered to be on the safe side.
