Known for precision, balance, and artistic detail, Mader Kreiselmanufaktur has been producing exceptional spinning tops since 1991 in Austria’s Hausruckviertel region. The workshop uses carefully selected regional hardwoods, ensuring every piece is both durable and environmentally responsible. Each spinning top is crafted from a single piece of wood and undergoes a detailed production process involving up to 20 stages. These include turning, carving, burning, embossing, painting, and varnishing, all completed by skilled artisans. A distinctive burned equator line encircles each top, serving as a mark of authenticity and quality. With a collection of around 150 unique designs, Mader offers an impressive variety of shapes and colour combinations. Every top is hand-painted, meaning no two pieces are exactly the same. Combining traditional Austrian craftsmanship with timeless design, Mader spinning tops are highly valued by collectors and provide engaging, high-quality play for all ages.
