Payment   

Our payment gateway is Paypal - this accepts payments by the following methods:

  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • PayPal
  • Cheques are accepted by prior arrangement

Items will be dispatched once we receive cleared payment.

Postage

Shipping is not included in the purchase price.

Please note that we post Mon-Fri excluding public holidays, while we do endeavour to dispatch orders within 24hrs from Mon-Fri, please allow up to 3 working days for your order to be dispatched if you select Standard Delivery.
For guaranteed next day delivery we offer a Next Day Guaranteed service.

Free postage on orders over £100

  • All orders over £100 will be dispatched free of charge within 3-5 working days by courier.
  • Please ensure you give a phone number at checkout to pass on to the courier for text message notification of your delivery time.
  • In the case where items are returned for refund and this brings the order total below £100 a £3 postage fee will be deducted from the refund.

Mainland UK Postage just £3

  • Sent via Royal Mail First Class to UK, delivery typically 1-2 working days once items are dispatched.
  • Large/heavy orders will be sent by courier - delivery typically 1-2 working days once items are dispatched.
  • For postage of large/heavy items to islands and highlands please contact us for prices.
  • All orders placed between 3pm Friday and Midnight will be dispatched on Monday.

Postage to parcel forwarding serives (e.g Parcel Motel etc)

A tracked/signed for service is required for postage to parcel forwarding services - if you would like your order to be dispatched to a parcel forwarding service, please contact us and we will charge for a tracked and signed for service. We apologise that do not send to parcel forwarding services by standard delivery.

Postage to Europe from £12

  • Sent via Royal Mail Airmail, delivery typically 5-7 working days but can take much longer.
  • Tracked service available £24 sent via UPS or Tracked Royal Mail service at our discretion.
  • For larger/heavier items additional postage fees will apply which will be automatically applied at checkout.

Postage to Italy

Tracked service only. £24 sent via UPS or Tracked Royal Mail service at our discretion.

To specially request courier delivery please Contact us as postage will be based on weight and destination.

Please note that in the case of returns and exchanges that these shipping charges are non-refundable.

VAT

We are a VAT registered company (105 5411 55) - 20% of all sales goes directly to HMRC, include 20% paid on P&P.

All product prices are displayed inclusive of UK VAT at a rate of 20%.

Orders being shipped outside of the EU with both shipping and billing address outside the EU will have this Tax removed in the checkout before you pay but may be subject to import duties and taxes once the shipment reaches its destination country. Additional customs clearance charges must be paid by the recipient. We have no visibility of these charges and are unable to reimburse any costs incurred, regardless of the circumstances.

Delivery Information

We aim to dispatch all orders received before 3:00pm on the same day. However please allow up to 5 working days after receiving payment for your order to ship. If your order will be delayed for more than 5 working days we will contact you and refund payment should you wish. If you require your item urgently please email us prior to ordering so that we can confirm delivery times. Purchase of Special Delivery is not a guarantee of next day delivery although we endeavour to achieve this. Normal delivery times are within 15 working days for standard delivery (Royal Mail 1st Class), 2 working days for Special Delivery and up to 4 weeks for European Airmail. If your item has not arrived within this time frame please contact your local sorting office in the first instance as they may be holding your item for you; if it has not arrived with them please contact us.

Lost/Delayed Parcels

In order to be able to provide our customers with low cost delivery, we send parcels via 1st class standard Royal Mail, which means we will not be able to track your parcel. If you require a tracked service please opt for Special Delivery at checkout.

In line with Royal Mail published guidelines, you must allow 15 working days for mainland UK orders, and 25 working days for European orders for your parcel to arrive before contacting us if you have not received your parcel after we have sent you a dispatch notice. You should always check with your local delivery office to ensure they are not holding your parcel before contacting us. Items that are lost in the post will be investigated by us submitting a claim to Royal Mail. If you parcel does not arrive we will refund or resend the parcel only after Royal Mail have completed their investigations.

Packaging

To help reduce our impact on the environment we try to reuse packaging materials where possible. The packaging materials we receive and reuse may not always fit in with the ethos of our company, but we feel it is better for the environment to re-use them than dump them straight into landfill. While some packages may have a 'pre-loved' look about them, be reassured that it is of the utmost importance to us that the products you have ordered reach you in perfect condition, so they will always be carefully and securely packaged, usually in a mixture of new and recycled packaging materials

Returns and Exchanges

Please contact us before sending any packages back to us to inform us of your intentions.

Should you decide you do not wish to keep an item purchased from us, we are happy to accept refunds provided they are returned to us within 28 days and in brand new condition with all packaging and instructions intact. A deduction will be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop. Should the item show signs of use we can not accept it as a return unless there is a fault. This does not affect your statutory rights. All items must be returned in their original packaging and in new unused condition for a full refund to the value of the item, excluding postage and packaging. The cost of return postage and packaging is the responsibility of the customer.

Faulty or damaged goods must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt. On inspection of the goods to identify if it is a manufacturing fault we will issue an exchange or full refund. Normal wear and tear is not considered to be a manufacturing fault. Return postage costs will be reimbursed in cases of return due to faulty items only. In the case of damage in transit, please retain all packaging to enable us to claim from the postal service. Please ensure that you include all your details and preferably original receipt with your return. We strongly advise that any returns are sent to us via Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery, as we cannot be held liable for articles lost in transit.

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order starting from the time you place the order and ending on the expiry of 14 working days starting from the day after the goods have been received, according to the Regulations set down by the EU Distance Selling Directive 97/7. Please notify us of your intentions and return the goods within the 14-day cooling-off period. The goods MUST be unused and unopened or it will be deemed that you have accepted them. Postage will not be reimbursed for cancellations, all return postage and packaging costs will be the responsibility of the the customer.

We reserve the right to issue refunds at any time prior to delivery.

Pricing

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Please note all prices quoted are in GBP and exclude postage and packaging.

Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on our website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel, we will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card.

We aim at all times to treat our customers and suppliers with the highest ethical standards. We choose to only work with companies whose ethical standards in terms of both manufacturing and business practice are fair, honest and in keeping with our beliefs.

Little Acorns to Mighty Oaks offers a full after-sale support service, which continues indefinitely. We will help you with any queries and are available via email after your purchase should you need any advice.

Privacy Policy

It is our policy never to sell or pass on your personal details to any other organization, this includes your name, postal or e-mail addresses and the details submitted on the order form. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. The information on the order form is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Legal

Every care has been taken to describe items as accurately as possible, however slight variations may occur. All product images are supplied by the manufacturer, please be aware that colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings, and all colours are as a representative guide only. Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights. Little Acorns to Mighty Oaks Ltd cannot be held liable for the content of any 3rd party links.
